5 hours EotN trial is WAY too short!
I've been playing for 2.5 hours now and its getting late so I have to quit. What did I accomplish? Nothing at all...
I started the Asura quest and it turned out to be an endless tracking quest through the mountains. I've no clue how far I got, but it takes way too long to complete. Not in the 2.5 hours that I have left since I have to start it all over again. I wonder if I can do ANY quest in that time. This is not what I expected. In 5 hours one can do a lot of things in a pre-searing environment, but nothing at all in a huge landscape with high level enemies. Anyway, I pick one of th 2 other quests tomorrow, hoping its possible to complete one in the time left and get a decent reward. Droppings until now was only some whites and 1 purple. *Sigh!*

I know what you mean, I know its a trial.
but I don't actually have time to really experience the game.
Had it been 7 hours instead of 5 I probably could get somewhere.

Lol, but until now I only got the same taste I had in the core game: tracking a lot to get from point a to point b. Nothing special. If its the intention to make people buy it, than bring them directly to the highlights, or give them more time to explore. Monsters are tough so making progress is much slower than in the core chapters.

Actually I agree, I have a bunch of people I recently introduced to the game and they were all really hoping to get a nice taste of EotN. I would have thought a 10 hour minimum, if not all weekend would have been suitable.

I understand that 5 hours isn't a lot of time to get the feel of the game, but it's definitely enough to at least get a feel for the norn quests. Be happy you got something.

I wanted to see
Boxing
Norn tournament
polymock
Instead I may not get to, those are what would really shift my decision in buying Eotn. Im tired of story modes and crap I want little extras.
Currently got to see Drakker, interesting seeing it

If you focus on those being your goals, you can at least see boxing and the norn tourney. IMO, both are pretty pointless. (I only did tourney to get exp and heroes) And you can probably get a run to Rata Sum to do Polymock, but why not just buy it for $20 or whatever it is now figuring that you want to play the game.

Sorry, I missed the part where the 5 hours wasn't free.
If you want to play, pay.

Blah Im now not spending weekend on GW
I seem to be getting blatant nasty lag spikes now whenever im on that silly area.
Also.
I would've probably bought Gwen if they just made it a preview weekend of Polymock Norn Tournament and Boxing.
All they had to do, seriously.
I can't be bothered now.
Now to QQ some moar.

Doing all primary quests you can finish gwen in less than 8 hours.
So you got to see most of the game..

Just buy EOTN.... if you can't afford 40 $ for entertainment then you have bigger issues. Think of all the entertainment you will get out of EOTN, probably close to a week or two. So let's say 15 hours of entertainment, that is 2.66 dollars an hour for enterainment...

I agree, it is really short for a trial.
Oh and isn't GW:EN only like 20 bucks Toxage?

Sure, it may be short, but it's also so easy that if they made it any longer you'd have no trouble finishing it within the time alotted.
